Here at Litt’s we want to say a big thank you to all our discerning customers who have played a part in our success over the past year.
It is with great pleasure
that Litt’s are able to announce the release of the first mass produced
shotgun designed specifically for young users.
The Webley and Scott
Junior has been created by some of the world’s most experienced gunsmiths
and is targeted specifically at youngsters.
The .410 gauge, over
and under non-ejector shotgun weighs just 5lbs 7oz, has a barrel length
of 26” and a pull length of 12 ¾”, meaning it provides the perfect
opportunity for children to hone their skills from an early age.
But not only does the
Webley and Scott Junior provide a fantastic chance for juniors to polish
their talents with the trigger but the purchase of one will guarantee
a valuable £5 donation is made to the BASC and NGO (National Gamekeeper Organisation).
The donation will be
made by Litt’s to demonstrate their support for a society that is
key in promoting shooting and hunting among the younger generation.
Without the efforts
of the BASC, shooting as a popular pastime could easily die out in the
coming decades and it is vital that today’s youngsters are given the
opportunity to keep the important values and skills of the sport alive.
The purpose of the BASC
is to protect the wellbeing of the countryside and a major part of this
is done through the promotion of shooting and other field sports.
And nothing can protect
and promote the future of country pursuits like the Webley and Scott
Junior, a gun that is set to give thousands of young people an opening
into the wonderful world of shooting.
Webley and Scott is
the oldest name in the British gun industry and can trace its origins
all the way back to the 1790s. This 200+ years of experience has
resulted in the company earning a well-deserved reputation for excellent
standards and top quality workmanship, and the Webley and Scott Junior
combines both of these in a gun that really is up there with the very
best.
It is to be launched
in February 2007 and will be exclusively available from Litt’s, the
largest sporting gun dealer in the UK until April 2007.
On offer at the fantastic
price of £449, a small price to pay for a well-designed piece so vital
to the future of shooting, the Webley and Scott Junior is the world’s
first shotgun designed specifically for children and its value, therefore,
cannot be underestimated.
